ReCinder at Museum of The Home for London Design Festival 2025
_________
In September, London arguably becomes all about design. From 13 to 21 September, the London Design Festival (LDF) will once again take over the city in celebration of creativity. With a multitude of events and experiences across the capital, emerging talent and global brands will compete for attention, creating a design frenzy that can be mesmerising, educational, energising and exhausting in equal measure.
We value innovation in design greatly as it enhances our lives, but with a perspective that is perhaps less wide-ranging, we hold firmly to the conviction that nature must always come first. For those who share this outlook, here is one for your LDF diary.
Running from 13 to 21 September, we are delighted to invite you to experience our ReCinder tableware range - a truly circular collection - at its first appearance at the LDF 2025. We will be presenting it in collaboration with one of London’s finest institutions, the Museum of the Home, museumofthehome.org.uk
Crafted from ultra-locally sourced ceramic waste, ReCinder is unique in its innovative use of raw materials, transforming a problematic by-product into beautiful and enduring objects. As the lowest-carbon tableware currently available on the market, it marks an important step towards a more sustainable future for ceramics.
Recently launched and much evolving, we are eager to reflect on its tangible achievements and gather your thoughts to help our development. Importantly, the collection will also become a permanent feature of the Museum of the Home shop, as part of The Home of Sustainable Things range of products.
With the museum’s own Ceramic in the City (13–14 September) – a must-attend event in the diaries of ceramists across the country – this promises to be a visit well worth making.
We look forward to seeing you there!
