Birch plywood, Elliotis plywood, and Douglas fir offcuts, sourced directly from the designer's shared workshop, converge to create a stunning yet minimalist piece. Versatile in design, it serves also as a side table maximising functionality and the use of natural resources.
Designed by the award-wining Micaella Pedros, JOINING BOTTLES is an utterly unique collection of objects crafted from reclaimed wooden offcuts and repurposed plastic bottles, joined using a unique joinery technique. Through the application of heat, plastic bottles are transformed into a wood bonding material, offering a meaningful approach to constructing functional structures.
