QUAZI Design | Handmade from waste paper, dyes and water based glue

Quazi Design was set up to provide much needed employment in Eswatini, Southern Africa and what had started as a trial for social impact between a designer and a local magazine distributor has now grown into a small thriving community of local women artisans, who are all now being employed with permanent contracts.

Quazi’s Design deliver sustainable design, ethical production, transparency and craftsmanship as well as developing new and innovative techniques using only waste paper. Driven by desire to change the perception of recycled materials they transform waste magazines and newspapers into original designs, using simple yet pioneering techniques at their workshop. All products are made by hand, using basic tools and sun’s rays.

How to recycle: It can be recycled with rest of your recyclables as it decomposes fully without leaving traces.
