"THE WORLD AROUND US" music track is OUT NOW!

Dear Friends,

Some of you perhaps might not know us quite so well but The Home of Sustainable Things [HOST] does not solely look at ways to make things better. HOST's chief mission is to repair the connection between people and nature! It is a concept aimed at improving that lost at times connection and attempt to make it better, or else, reintroduce, present and protect nature which can be done in a variety of ways. And here is another... 

In January, not long after the New Year, we were stooped around a table, wondering, discussing... looking for the best way to reach out to people from different paths of life, to those with little interest in design, that could yet help our mission? Also, how could we relate to youths, how to aspire no matter ethnicity? We knew creativity can provide solutions but has many formats so which one should it be? 

In all honesty, the answer was not all that hard. Music has the ability to transcend, it possesses godly properties to carry sensations through the barriers of time unfettered, undistracted and complete. Music is a universal language, a vibration. So we chose. 

We are delighted, in fact elated to share our latest project with you. “THE WORLD AROUND US” is a music single produced in collaboration with Elijah Kerr aka Jaja Soze and Brixton Recording Studios. Special THANK YOU to everyone who helped us realise this wonderful project! Though this sounds a cliché…without you this could not have happened.

The single's artwork is by Dimitar Karanikolov, an award-wining photographer whose work is  dominated by his passion for cultural ethnicities and aerial photography. To celebrate the track release and the world around us as it is, we have featured three more original photographs by Karanikolov. These are available in a limited edition of ten, with 100% of all HOST proceeds to be redirected to a pot for the development and production of such future music projects, with whom we hope to inspire as many people as we possibly can!
