Each scarf is created using the Wind Knitting Factory, a mobile, wind-powered knitting machine that transforms the movement of air into a continuous knitting process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe machine can be installed in different locations, including on building façades. Its blades, spanning more than one metre in diameter, capture the wind and convert its energy into mechanical movement, gradually knitting a length of fabric that descends from the machine as it grows.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnlike conventional textile production, the pace of making is determined entirely by nature.
