Made from 100% excavation waste diverted from housing developments in Wimbledon, London, the dishes are fired once to 1060 degrees Celsius. The resulting, porous body allows water to pass through.
Produced in limited batches, the dishes’ colour will vary reflecting the variety of excavated clays in a manufacturing process that challenges traditional practices and explores the potential of a new development model that embraces the circularity and value of waste materials.
