GIRIA is a homeware collection balancing between tactility, shape and colour.
The base of the pedestal bowl is fitted with a brass stand for accomplished, contemporary look.
No two GIRIA items are the same. Each piece is made by hand, using bark dust from different trees, which contributes to a unique texture, colour and roughness of a surface. Making GIRIA is time consuming process as preparation of the bark and drying it could last from days, to weeks. All GIRIA items are food compliant!
The materials in GIRIA may change slowly over time and the collection distinguishes itself from mass production, making the products as individual as their owners. Each item is hand-made and it might vary slightly in colour or appearance, which we hope you see as an advantage rather than a vice!
PRODUCT CARE
Avoid washing under running water or to use for liquids. Clean gently with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth. Occasional treatment with linseed oil can be recommended after some time. For dry use only.
How to recycle: Bark would decompose fully when left out in nature, where brass can be upcycled continuously. Mix media parts require separate recycling.
