Shiv Textiles

Shiv Textiles is a British design studio closing the loop on the fast-fashion industry by rescuing deadstock yarn destined for landfill and handcrafting it into fine, contemporary homewares and lifestyle accessories designed to enhance your home feel.

The studio works with mills and factories across the UK, rescuing their deadstock materials – yarn, zips, selvedges, buttons and more to create a timeless, "never go out of style" collection using centuries-old weaving techniques and patterns. Inspired by the rich textures of the modern world, the studio uses natural fibres to put a contemporary spin on traditional weaving techniques and instead of following trends, the studio's collection of cushions, throws and purses are designed to transcend the seasons and made to last.

Most are handwoven 4 to 16 shaft loom, while fabric samples are developed further and woven on a Dornier Rapier loom.
